JOIN CBC AND CIBC AS THEY CELEBRATE CIBC SOCCER NATION WITH A 2014 FIFA WORLD CUP BRAZIL™ VIEWING PARTY THIS SATURDAY IN EDMONTON'S LOUISE MCKINNEY RIVERFRONT PARK

This family -friendly event features games, activities and a live broadcast of
the Germany vs. Ghana match from 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™
 
The free event runs from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, June 21
 
CBC is proud to partner with CIBC to bring Canadians CIBC Soccer Nation, a seven-city viewing tour each weekend throughout 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™, bringing the beautiful game to audiences in communities across the country. This weekend marks the second stop on the cross-country tour with a viewing party in Edmonton’s Louise McKinney Riverfront Park. Each CIBC Soccer Nation event is made possible with additional support from adidas.
 
Soccer fans of all ages come out to take part in CIBC Soccer Nation’s tour as we celebrate the beautiful game across Canada. Fun activities for the entire family this Saturday include a live viewing of the Germany vs. Ghana match on a giant screen, the CIBC cheer booth, the adidas zone, face painting, prizes, and more fun activities for soccer fans of all ages. Plus, CBC Edmonton sports reporter Min Dhariwal (@MinDhariwal) will be on-site to welcome fans to the event.
