JOIN CBC AND CIBC AS THEY CELEBRATE CIBC SOCCER NATION WITH A 2014 FIFA WORLD CUP BRAZIL™ VIEWING EVENT THIS SATURDAY IN VANCOUVER'S VICTORIA PARK

This family -friendly event features games, activities and a live broadcast of the England vs. Italy match from 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™
 
The free event runs from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, June 14
 
CBC is proud to partner with CIBC to bring Canadians CIBC Soccer Nation, a seven-city viewing tour each weekend throughout 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™, bringing the beautiful game to audiences in communities across the country. This weekend marks the first stop on the cross-country tour with a viewing event in Vancouver’s Victoria Park. Each CIBC Soccer Nation event is made possible with additional support from adidas.
 
Soccer fans of all ages come out to take part in CIBC Soccer Nation’s tour as we celebrate the beautiful game across Canada. Fun activities for the entire family this Saturday include live viewing of the England vs. Italy match, the CIBC cheer booth, the adidas zone, live musical performances by the Carnival Band as well as Taico Drummers from 12-1 p.m., prizes, and more fun activities for soccer fans of all ages. Plus, CBC Vancouver’s Shane Foxman will be at Victoria Park to welcome fans to the event.
