CBC Music is proud to launch a new, revamped version of the CBCMusic.ca app for iOS. The app, aimed at helping Canadians discover new music from across the country and around the world using their iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, makes the full range of content from the desktop version of CBC Music available on mobile including articles, artist features, concerts, videos and more.
The new CBCMusic.ca app also features “CBC Music First Plays” allowing users to stream new albums by some of the hottest Canadian and international acts before they’re released. In addition, more than 150,000 songs by over 30,000 Canadian artists and 50 unique web radio stations are available through the app for free.
“I am pleased that we are able to make our full range of content available to our iOS users,” says Chris Boyce, Executive Director of Radio and Audio for English Services. “We are always looking for new ways of connecting Canadians to our content.”
The CBCMusic.ca app is now available for free from the App Store on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch or at www.AppStore.com.
