CBC LIVE ROLLS OUT THE RED CARPET FOR THE STARS AT TIFF

Torontonians are invited to watch live tapings of CBC Live at TIFF daily and participate in events at CBC from September 5-13, 2013
CBC Live is rolling out the red carpet for ten big days of celebrities and celluloid with “CBC Live at TIFF” - a fun, interactive, daily show, featuring an eclectic mixture of iconic Canadian celebrities hosted in front of a live audience at CBC, daily from 12:30p.m. - 1p.m. from September 5 - 13. Canadians across the country are invited to join in on the action for the latest TIFF news, film reviews and celebrity interviews, streaming online at cbc.ca/live and via twitter @cbclive #CBCtiff.

In addition to the opportunity to experience live programming first-hand, guests will have the chance to meet and interact with talent, win fabulous prizes, pose for photos on the pop-up red carpet, enjoy complimentary popcorn, check out CBC’s fall programming in the Graham Spry Theatre, and tour the CBC Museum.

The CBC Live at TIFF Schedule includes daily shows from 12:30 p.m—1 p.m. with the following guests:

September 5: TIFF’s artistic director, Cameron Bailey, design gurus Steven and Chris, and Jim Treliving of Dragons’ Den fame
September 6: Dragons’ Den’s David Chilton, Tom Power of CBC Radio 2, Murdoch Mysteries’ Georgina Reilly and Helene Joy and director of the short film Subconscious Password, Chris Landreth
September 7: Comedian Ron James, and actor Khalid Abdalla, director Jehane Noujaim and producer Karim Amer from The Square, and director Michael Dowse and writer Elan Mastai from The F Word
September 8: Murdoch Mysteries’ leading man, Yannick Bisson, director Bruce McDonald, and actor Maxwell McCabe-Lokos from The Husband,Cracked’s David Sutcliffe and Brooke Nevin
