CBC PRESENTS AN EXCLUSIVE CANADIAN BROADCAST INTERVIEW WITH ROCK 'N' ROLL LEGEND SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY

CBC-TV will broadcast Rendez-vous with Paul McCartney, an exclusive Canadian interview with Rock ‘n’ Roll legend Sir Paul McCartney on Friday, July 19 at 7p.m. (7:30 NT). McCartney sits down for a special interview to celebrate his performance at the Plains of Abraham on July 23. The full interview will also be available for streaming on CBCMusic.ca. The interview will air on CBC News Network on Saturday, July 20 at 5:30 p.m.ET and 9:30 pm ET.
 
Five years after McCartney’s concert in July 2008 on the Plains of Abrahams, where 200,000 people gathered to watch the musical legend perform, McCartney is coming back to rock the plains again. To celebrate the exciting event, Genevieve Borne will sit down with McCartney and talk to him about his music, his career that has spanned over 50-years, his place in the music world today and how he feels about music right now.
