DUE TO FLOODING, CBC'S RECIPE TO RICHES CANCELS CALGARY, AB OPEN CALL ON JUNE 22

Due to extreme flooding in Calgary and the surrounding area, CBC’s new series RECIPE TO RICHES will be cancelling its Calgary open call on June 22, at the Real Canadian Superstore®, location at 20 Heritage Meadows Way SE, Calgary, AB. CBC and its RECIPE TO RICHES partners, Loblaw Companies Limited and Temple Street Productions would like to express their sincere concern for all individuals affected by the recent flooding; our thoughts are with the people of Calgary and its surrounding areas during this difficult time.

Currently, the Calgary open call is cancelled; however please stay tuned to the RECIPE TO RICHES website, Facebook and Twitter for further updates, as more information will be shared as soon as it becomes available.

For interested individuals who were planning to attend the Calgary open call, please note that online submissions will also be considered. For those unable to attend the open call in person, RECIPE TO RICHES is offering home cooks the opportunity to submit an online application including a video describing the recipe at cbc.ca/recipetoriches. A select number of online entrants will be flown at our expense to either a Toronto or Vancouver open call to have their most delicious recipes sampled in person by the culinary team.
