CBC AND LOBLAW SEARCH FOR CANADA'S MOST DELICIOUS RECIPES WITH COMPETITION REALITY SERIES, RECIPE TO RICHES, EXCLUSIVELY ON CBC-TV THIS WINTER

RECIPE TO RICHES’ new season moves exclusively to CBC-TV in winter 2014
 
Auditions will be held in five major cities across Canada, beginning June 22 through July 13

CBC and Loblaw Companies Limited (Loblaw) are searching for home cooks with recipes that will wow the nation on the weekly competition reality series RECIPE TO RICHES, which will find a new home on CBC Television in Winter 2014. Think your home-cooked, original recipe has what it takes to make Canadian mouths water? Are you interested in taking a step into the world of food development? In addition to winning a cash prize of $25,000, each week the winning category recipe will be turned into a President`s Choice® product available across the country in Loblaw store locations. All you have to do is audition! The national RECIPE TO RICHES audition tour kicks-off on June 22, 2013 and travels to five major cities across Canada ending July 13, 2013.

Aiming to discover the best of the best in Canadian food development, RECIPE TO RICHES invites amateur Canadian home cooks to create and share their original favourite personal recipes with the country. Each episode features a different food category with home-cooks competing for a weekly $25,000 prize and the opportunity to move on to compete in the series finale for the grand prize of $250,000. Each category winner’s recipe will be available across the country as a President`s Choice® brand product. This program gives a taste of what a career in product development would be like. In the week leading up to the finale, Canadians will be charged with the task of voting for their favourite - crowning one worthy person the RECIPE TO RICHES champion!

Auditions will take place this summer in select Loblaw store locations in cities across Canada, beginning June 22 to July 13.
