But what happens when the website promising the best deal doesn’t keep its end of the bargain? On the season finale of MARKETPLACE, Tom Harrington investigates Canada’s largest group-buying, daily deals website, Dealfind, and reveals a questionable business model that’s left a trail of unhappy shoppers. Listening to interviews from disgruntled customers, using hidden cameras and going straight to the source, Harrington uncovers whether Canadians are getting what they paid for or being duped by a promise of a deal that’s too good to be true.
