Oscar Pistorius: What Really Happened? North American Premiere

Did the “Blade Runner” commit pre-meditated murder, or was it an accident, as he maintains? A documentary team has been in Pretoria, South Africa, digging deeper into a death that shocked the world. Presented by Rick Edwards, who covered Pistorius’s gold medal-winning and world record-breaking achievements at the London 2012 Paralympic Games, the documentary features interviews with friends of both the victim and the accused.
At 26 years old, Oscar Pistorius was the poster boy of the Paralympics movement. But reports have emerged of a different side of Oscar Pistorius—late night brawls and arguments, and a passion for guns.
Featuring special 3-D graphics, sworn testimony and exclusive interviews, the documentary attempts to give the most complete picture yet of what may have happened in Oscar Pistorius’s apartment in the early hours of Feb. 14.

Oscar-winning filmmaker Errol Morris turns his signature style and ferocious curiosity on the infamous British tabloids and their obsession with scandal. “Sex in chains” headlines and the stranger-than-fiction adventures of a former beauty queen come to life in Tabloid.
Morris follows the surreal account of American Joyce McKinney, accused of kidnapping and raping her Mormon boyfriend. The British tabloids loved the story of “Joyce and the Manacled Mormon,” and her exploits made the front page over and over again, with one salacious headline after another.
At turns funny, strange and disturbing, this latest film by the Academy Award-winning director of The Fog of War is a vivid portrayal of a phenomenally driven woman whose romantic obsessions and delusions catapult her over the edge into scandal sheet notoriety and an unimaginable life.
