CBC NAMED ONE OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL BRANDS IN CANADA

CBC has been named one of the Most Influential Brands in Canada in a study by IPSOS REID. Announced today at FFWD: Advertising & Marketing Week in Canada, the second annual Most Influential Brand study ranked CBC as one of the top 10 brands in Canada for the second year in a row.

“It’s an honour to be recognized as one of the most influential brands of the year by IPSOS REID for the second consecutive year,” said Bridget Hoffer, Executive Director, Communications, Marketing & Brand, CBC. “Our brand is a reflection of Canadians and Canadian culture, and it’s clear that we continue to connect with Canadians across the country in new, meaningful and engaging ways.”

The Most Influential Brand Study reveals key dimensions that define and determine the most influential brands in Canada, including; Leading Edge, Trustworthy, Presence, Corporate Citizenship, and Engagement. The second annual study was presented by Steve Levy, President, IPSOS REID, at FFWD Advertising & Marketing Week in Canada, on Friday, February 1 in Toronto.
