With the US Presidential election mere days away, the comedy experts at Just For Laughs take the political pulse of America with the all-new comedy special, The American Dream? airing Sunday, November 4 at 9:00 p.m. (9:30 NT) on CBC Television. Hosted by the brilliantly funny Lewis Black (The Daily Show), The American Dream? features a collection of stand-ups, each with their own unique take on the state of The States. After all, who knows more about an American election than a bunch of performers at a Canadian comedy festival?

With the 2012 US election looming, critically-acclaimed Lewis Black joins the electoral conversation, delivering insights and opinions in this sharply-funny political special. Best known for his hilarious segment Back in Black on The Daily Show, Black is a highly successful stand-up comedian, actor, and author. Starring in multiple TV and film projects, Black has garnered widespread critical acclaim and received an Emmy® Award for his HBO special Red, White and Screwed. He is also a two-time Grammy® Award-winner for “Best Comedy Album” and landed on the New York Times best-sellers list for his books Nothing’s Sacred and Me of Little Faith.
