Canada's Best Political Team Broadcasts Tonight's U.S. Vice Presidential Debate 9 P.M. ET On CBC News Network and CBCNews.ca

Debate coverage begins with POWER & POLITICS WITH EVAN SOLOMON at 5 p.m. ET

CBC News Network has live coverage tonight of the U.S. Vice-Presidential Debate between Vice President Joe Biden and Republican challenger Paul Ryan. Coverage begins at 9 p.m. ET on CBC News Network and CBCNews.ca, where the debate streams live, and is hosted by Evan Solomon. Canadians can join the conversation, with featured comments on-screen and a live online chat during the debate, hosted at CBCNews.ca/usdebates. Following the debate, The National with Peter Mansbridge will feature a round-up and look at the key points made by each candidate. The National airs at 10 p.m./10:30 NT on CBC-TV and at 11 p.m. ET/PT on CBC News Network.

But first, Power & Politics with Evan Solomon, at 5 p.m. ET on CBC News Network, looks ahead to the debate, while CBC News Now with Ian Hanomansing, at 8 p.m. ET, counts down.

Canadians can join the conversation by adding #PnPCBC to their tweets, which will be displayed across the bottom of the screen during the debate. Coverage will continue afterwards with analysis from Solomon, CBC News political reporter Susan Bonner, and CBC’s national affairs editor Chris Hall.

And log on to CBCNews.ca/usdebates for a live chat before, during and after the debate from 8:30 to 11 p.m. ET with Solomon, Hall, Keith Boag, Meagan Fitzpatrick and Mark Gollom.
