GEORGE STROUMBOULOPOULOS SITS DOWN WITH THE CAST OF DAVID CRONENBERG'S COSMOPOLIS IN A CANADIAN IN-STUDIO EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW

On the heels of the world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, Director David Cronenberg and the stars of his provocative new film, Cosmopolis, are set to join host George Stroumboulopoulos for a Canadian in-studio exclusive interview. The special episode of GEORGE STROUMBOULOPOULOS TONIGHT will air on CBC Television on Thursday, June 7 at 11:05 p.m. (11:35 p.m. NT).

Cronenberg will be joined by the leading lights of his cast: box office leading man Robert Pattinson, ®Oscar nominee Paul Giamatti, and Toronto’s rising star Sarah Gadon. The interview will be taped just hours before they walk the red carpet at the Canadian premiere of Cosmopolis in Toronto on Monday, June 4, and will air Thursday, June 7 at 11:05 p.m. (11:35 NT). Cosmopolis goes into wide release in Canada the following day, distributed by eOne Films.

The story of a paranoid young New York financier watching his empire crumble amidst a chaotic Manhattan backdrop as he pieces together the clues of an even greater threat, Cosmopolis is a culmination of Cronenberg’s masterpieces that addresses the alarming global financial crisis of today’s world.
