CBC TELEVISION goes commercial-free on Sunday, Dec. 25th

On Sunday, December 25th, CBC will celebrate the holiday season with a special commercial free line-up of family favourites! First the first time ever, CBC, with the support of TBooth, will be giving Canadians a day of classic programming with limited commercial breaks on Christmas Day.

Production Underway on Season 2 of Acclaimed Arctic Comedy North of North for APTN, CBC and Netflix

APTN, CBC and Netflix, with production partners Red Marrow Media and Northwood Entertainment, announced that production is underway on the second season of the Arctic-set comedy North of North. The highly anticipated new season will premiere on APTN, CBC and Netflix later in 2026.
