Kim Navarro and Russ Courtnall are the second iced pair on Battle of the Blades

Kim Navarro and Russ Courtnall skated for their survival tonight on BATTLE OF THE BLADES, but their performance fell short and they have become the second “iced” pair on the third season of this live competitive TV series.  The Tourette’s Syndrome Neurodevelopmental Clinic at Toronto Western Hospital will receive a $25,000 donation in their honour.

The pair Tanith Belbin and Boyd Devereaux, also in the bottom two, will continue to compete for their chance to win a $100,000 donation to their chosen charities, the Montreal Neurological Institute and Epilepsy Huron-Perth-Bruce.

This week NHL hockey legend and two-time Stanley Cup winner Mark Napier provided his insightful commentary on each pair’s performance as Guest Judge along with remarks from Head Judge Sandra Bezic. Also, Paul Martini, Canadian Sports Hall of Famer and World Figure Skating Champion, sat in for Jeremy Roenick in the Resident Judge chair on the Sunday, October 9th performance show.
