CBC VANCOUVER'S MUSICAL NOONERS FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 27 - JULY 31

Featuring Shred Kelly, Keith Bennett, David Sinclair, Robyn & Ryleigh, Murray Porter and Tanga

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - For the sixth year, CBC Vancouver’s Musical Nooners continue to bring the sounds of summer to the CBC plaza. With live concerts   featuring a blend of pop, indie and world music, this free concert series runs every weekday from noon - 1pm on the CBC outdoor stage at 700 Hamilton St.   This week’s line up:

  Monday, July 27 -   Shred Kelly  
  CBCMusic.ca   listed Shred Kelly’s release, “Sing To The Night” as one of the most anticipated Albums of 2015. Come see this “stoke-folk” quintet from Fernie, BC hit the   Nooners stage for some high energy fun.

  Tuesday, July 28 - Keith BennettDavid Sinclair  
  These two veterans of the music scene make a winning duo of harmonica and guitar playing a great mix of blues, gypsy jazz and pop.

  Wednesday, July 29 -   Robyn & Ryleigh  
  They’re sisters from Langley and their music is the sound of country today. Find out where the next generation is headed.

  Thursday, July 30 -     Murray Porter  
  Few performers can command the stage with such authority as Murray Porter. His blues-fuelled songs and piano playing will leave you dazzled.

  Friday, July 31 -   Tanga  
  Tanga’s take on the sound of Cuba will make your feet move, your hips sway and paste a big smile on your face. Save the air fare to Cuba and catch Tanga   right here in Vancouver!
