CATHERINE PATRY BECOMES DIRECTOR, MARKETING AND BUSINESS-TO-BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS FOR THE MEDIA SOLUTIONS GROUP

Jean Mongeau, general manager and chief revenue officer, Media Solutions for CBC/Radio-Canada, is pleased to announce the appointment of Catherine Patry as director, Marketingand Business-to-Business Communications for the Media Solutions Group.
 
Patry has occupied various management roles in marketing and communications at Telus for nearly eight years. Prior to that, she worked for the advertising agencies Bleublancrouge and Taxi. She holds degrees from the University of Ottawa and HEC Montreal in addition to being a member of the Quebec Bar Association.
 
“Catherine is a seasoned marketer with a strong knowledge of our business environment,” said Mongeau. “Her close involvement in many projects with media partners, including CBC/Radio-Canada, has prepared her well for her new responsibilities.”
 
Patry’s appointment was effective as of yesterday, reporting directly to Jean Mongeau. Her mandate is to elaborate marketing, commercialization and B2B communications strategies aimed at CBC/Radio-Canada’s clients and business partners in the advertising sales and distribution areas.
