A broadcast clip is available for download here .

In the episode, Phoenix Rising, Kate (Reitman) joins her team at Gaze on a Saturday to work on a pitch, promising Nathan (Philip Sternberg) she’ll be home in time for family dinner with their parents. When the camaraderie and joking get out of hand, it’s up to Kate to rein things in. With her family balance in jeopardy, she rushes to leave the office. On her way out, she learns there’s been a decision on the Montreal job, and can think of no better counsel on the matter than her own dad (Aykroyd). Anne (Dani Kind) struggles to find a point of connection with her daughter, Alice (Sadie Munroe), and Jenny (Jessalyn Wanlim) is faced with disconcerting truths about her life and relationship when Ian (Dennis Andres) asks for her help with his Kickstarter project.

Created by Catherine Reitman (Black-ish, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Breakin' it Down with Catherine Reitman ), WORKIN' MOMS (13x30) is an original comedy series created by and starring Catherine Reitman that tests the modern ideal that women really can have it all. The series follows the lives of four women as they juggle love, careers, and parenthood. They support, challenge, and try not to judge each other as life throws them curveballs. Whether it is an identity crisis, a huge job opportunity, postpartum depression, or an unplanned pregnancy – they face both the good and bad with grace and humour. Kate (Reitman) is the flawed and fearless heart and soul of the series, who has stark home/life decisions to make. She relies on her closest friend Anne (Dani Kind; The Good Witch), a no-nonsense psychiatrist and mother of two, who is facing a massive family challenge. Charming and unpredictable Frankie (Juno Rinaldi, The Killing) livens any dark moment as she struggles with her own instability and relationship malaise. And sweet, former sorority girl Jenny (Jessalyn Wanlim; Orphan Black) seeks an uncharacteristically reckless awakening. Together the friends fearlessly confront the polarizing and unexpected realities of being working moms. WORKIN’ MOMS airs Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. (10 NT) on CBC.

WORKIN’ MOMS is executive produced by Catherine Reitman and Philip Sternberg (Divorce Corp., Six Little McGhees). The series is written by Reitman, Rebecca Kohler (Kim’s Convenience, This Hour Has 22 Minutes), Karen Moore (What Would Sal Do , Rookie Blue), Diane Flacks (Baroness Von Sketch Show,Young Drunk Punk) and Ingrid Haas (The UCB Show,Vice), and directed by Reitman, Paul Fox (Schitt’s Creek, This Life) and Aleysa Young (Baroness Von Sketch Show). Series cinematography by Maya Bankovic (Below Her Mouth), production design by Elisa Sauve (Milton’s Secret, Zoom) and costume design by Sheila Fitzpatrick (Degrassi: Next Class).

A CBC original series, WORKIN’ MOMS is produced by Wolf & Rabbit Entertainment ULC with the participation of the Canadian Media Fund. The series is distributed internationally by Coldsprings Media LLC and represented by Vanguarde Artist Management and CAA .
