MEDIA ADVISORY: CBC NEWS TO REVEAL WHO WILL HOST THE NATIONAL ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 1

CBC News will reveal new hosting details for flagship news program The National at a news conference to be held at the Canadian Broadcasting Centre in Toronto on Tuesday, August 1 at 1 p.m. ET. The news conference will be live-streamed at facebook.com/thenational/.

WHAT: Jennifer McGuire, general manager and editor-in-chief, CBC News, will announce new hosting details for The National, followed by a general question period for media.

 

WHERE: Canadian Broadcasting Centre – Barbara Frum Atrium

WHEN: Tuesday, August 1 at 1 p.m. ET
