CBC/Radio-Canada’s WHAT’S YOUR STORY? – A CANADA 2017 YEARBOOK marks the year by showcasing Canadians’ stories

Ottawa — As 2017 comes to a close, CBC/Radio-Canada presents WHAT’S YOUR STORY? – A CANADA 2017 YEARBOOK, a special project showcasing Canadians and connecting us with each other in this milestone year.

WHAT’S YOUR STORY? – A CANADA 2017 YEARBOOK is a hardcover collection of profiles and portraits we received from Canadians in every province and territory, of all ages and from diverse cultural backgrounds. The Yearbook is available in both official languages as a single edition. It includes over 150 stories, perspectives and photographs that create a fascinating snapshot of the people, places, things and events that tell a story of who we are now and where we are headed together as a nation.

“As Canada’s public broadcaster, we have been at the heart of the country’s 150th anniversary of Confederation with a special lineup of programming, live events and partnerships,” said Hubert T. Lacroix, President & CEO of CBC/Radio-Canada. “We provided a public space for Canadians to have a voice, to share their stories and to connect with each other. We’re grateful for each of the stories we received.”

This limited edition yearbook is available to the public at Indigo (online at !ndigo ), Chapters, Coles and independent booksellers for $29.99. A downloadable, digital version will also be available for free to all Canadians in early December 2017.
