Québec, Quebec’s Dominike Audet exits the tent, while Vancouver, British Columbia’s Sheldon Lynn is named Star Baker
Radio host and novelist, Dominike Audet, 42, of Québec, QC said arrivederci to the judges, hosts and remaining six bakers following Italian Week on THE GREAT CANADIAN BAKING SHOW, while Vancouver, BC’s Sheldon Lynn mastered the magnifico, earning the title of Star Baker.
During week four, the bakers tried their hand at timeless Italian desserts. For the Signature Bake they gave their take on the crispy coffee-time favorite Biscotti in two flavours, followed by a tricky Technical Bake which required a selection of delicate and delicious Cannoncini, cones of puff pastry filled with cream. Finally, the bakers presented a physics-defying Leaning Tower for the Show Stopper, composed of a multitude of Italian treats of their choosing.
As Dominike leaves the tent, the following six bakers remain:
- Larry Harris, 53, a business operations manager from Edmonton, AB
- Maggie Frith, 42, a stay-at-home mom and former lawyer from Toronto, ON
- Mahathi Mundluru, 24, a business analyst from Markham, ON
- Raufikat Oyawoye, 35, an IT support engineer from Milton, ON
- Sheldon Lynn, 25, a software developer from Vancouver, BC
- Tanner Davies, 28, a marketing consultant from Winnipeg, MB
