FOUR BAKERS REMAIN FOLLOWING PASTRY WEEK ON CBC’S THE GREAT CANADIAN BAKING SHOW

Vancouver, British Columbia’s Sheldon Lynn left the tent behind, while Winnipeg, Manitoba’s Tanner Davies wow’d the judges to become this week’s Star Baker
 

Software Developer, Sheldon Lynn, 25, of Vancouver, BC crumbled under pressure exiting the tent following Pastry Week on THE GREAT CANADIAN BAKING SHOW, while Winnipeg, Manitoba’s Tanner Davies,was crust into the limelight earning the title of Star Baker. 

During week six, the remaining bakers faced Pastry Week. For the Signature Bake, they put their own spin on a classic Strudel in any flavour of their choosing, followed by the Technical Bake, where the contestants were met with a recipe for the British Classic, a Bakewell Tart, featuring homemade jam and frangipane filling. Finally, the Show Stopper filled the tent with artistic Vegetable Tarts, showcasing the bakers’ decorative flair. 

As Sheldon leaves the tent, the following four bakers remain for the semi-final round:
