The exhibition From Pepinot to PAW Patrol® – Television of Our Childhoods explores 70 years of children’s television through images, archives and artifacts from CBC/Radio-Canada

Canadians are invited to reconnect with beloved shows that have shaped their childhoods for more than 70 years, including CBC/Radio-Canada classics like Anne of Green Gables, Bobino, Degrassi, La boîte à surprise, Mr. Dressup, PAW Patrol, Pépinot, The Friendly Giant, Takuginai and Watatatow, in a new exhibition at the Canadian Museum of History. CBC/Radio-Canada is proud to be the lead partner of the exhibition, which opens its doors today.
Highlights for visitors include the legendary Tickle Trunk and costumes from Mr. Dressup, as well as a selection of the most memorable scenes from Bobino. Still images, archival material, items and artifacts such as props, puppets and scenery from CBC/Radio-Canada’s iconic programs are also on display.
“Congratulations to the Museum of History on hosting this exhibition that brings back some of our fondest childhood memories. We are proud to see that CBC/Radio-Canada programming makes up such a large part of the exhibited collection. It shows the vital role the public broadcaster has played in the lives of young Canadians since its earliest broadcasts for children.” – Catherine Tait, President and CEO, CBC/Radio-Canada
