CBC SASKATCHEWAN ANNOUNCES NEW HOSTS AND A REFRESHED RADIO SHOW

CBC Saskatchewan is pleased to share several announcements.

Stephanie Massicotte is the new host of CBC Radio One’s show Saskatoon Morning. She will step into the hosting chair starting on September 3, 2024.

A fixture in Saskatoon’s media landscape for over a decade, Stephanie is a familiar face to many. She co-hosted and anchored CTV Morning Live for years. You also could find her in the community reporting on live events and delivering breaking news.

"Stephanie has a deep connection to Saskatoon and has a strong desire to tell stories of challenge, hope, aspiration and possibility on Saskatoon Morning,” says Paul Dornstauder, CBC Saskatchewan’s Managing Editor.

“Stephanie will bring you the stories of people shaping the life of the city. She will introduce you to your neighbours who are working to build stronger communities. She will walk you through the efforts that will shape the skyline of Saskatoon for decades to come. She will do it all in a way that matters to you.”

Saskatoon Morning can be heard on weekdays from 6:00 - 8:30 a.m. on CBC Radio One in Saskatoon on 94.1 FM. It’s also available live online and on-demand on the CBC Listen app. The show focuses on what matters to people in Saskatoon — news, weather, traffic. It also features original in-depth stories, music and information.

Peter Mills is the new host of CBC Saskatchewan’s long-running afternoon radio show, The Afternoon Edition now named ‘The 306.’ Peter will continue to bring his curiosity to the Saskatchewan of today - our new culture, our growing cities, and the experience of winding down your workday and starting your evening.

The 306 will connect you to communities across the province. It will bring you the stories of Saskatchewan people showing great spirit and will give you a glimpse into what’s been happening across the province and around the world. Peter Mills is passionate about Saskatchewan. Its people. Its stories. Its music.

The 306 can be heard on weekdays from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on CBC Radio One on 102.5 FM (Regina), 94.1 FM (Saskatoon) or 540 AM across the province. It’s also available live online and on-demand on the CBC Listen app. The freshly renamed show will have a focus on the Saskatchewan of today — more urban, more curious and a little bit younger.
