Canada Super 60 and CBC today announced a broadcast and streaming partnership for the second season of the professional T10 cricket league, taking place from September 29 to October 4, 2026, at BC Place in Vancouver. Every match will stream nationally on the free CBC Gem streaming service, with select matches—including the women’s championship final also available on CBC TV.
The partnership marks an important milestone for cricket in Canada. It pairs the country’s national public broadcaster with a fast-growing Canadian sports property as cricket expands across North America and prepares to return to the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028.
“We are thankful and genuinely thrilled to welcome CBC as our official broadcaster and streaming partner. Their involvement is a powerful vote of confidence in Canada Super 60 and confirms our belief that Canada is ready to embrace cricket’s growth across North America. With CBC and CBC Gem, families and communities from coast to coast to coast can be part of the tournament as we build a lasting platform for players, supporters and the next generation.”
— Abhishek Shah, Chairman and Founder, Canada Super 60
Canada Super 60 debuted at BC Place in 2025 with leading international cricketers and emerging Canadian talent. Backed by former Indian international star and two-time World Cup winner Yuvraj Singh, the league has featured men’s and women’s competitions from its inception and is committed to giving local players and women’s cricket a prominent national platform.
“CBC is excited to bring Canada Super 60 to audiences across the country as cricket prepares to make its return to the Olympic Games at LA2028. With both men’s and women’s matches available on CBC and CBC Gem, veteran fans and new viewers won’t miss a minute of the action.”
— Chris Wilson, Executive Director, Sports and Olympics, CBC
Beginning Tuesday, September 29, the new season will feature 24 matches over six days across men’s and women’s divisions. The six city-based franchises are Brampton Blitz, Mississauga Masters, Montréal Royal Tigers, Toronto Sixers, Vancouver Anchors and Whiterock Warriors.
Played over 10 overs per side, each match delivers a complete cricket contest in approximately 90 minutes. The tournament combines elite competition with entertainment, cultural programming and family-focused experiences beneath the retractable roof of BC Place.
With CBC and CBC Gem bringing the tournament to audiences nationwide, the energy of BC Place and the best of cricket in Vancouver will be accessible to audiences across Canada.
“Our government is pleased to welcome Canada Super 60 back to BC Place. Events like this bring communities together, support local businesses and showcase British Columbia as a premier destination for major international events. We're committed to supporting opportunities that celebrate our diverse communities, inspire the next generation of athletes and create lasting memories for everyone who takes part. Canada Super 60 is another example of how sport brings people together while contributing to vibrant, thriving communities throughout our province.” APPROVED
— Anne Kang, Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport
Canada Super 60 returns to BC Place this fall following a successful inaugural season, bringing cricket fans back to the stadium on the heels of its seven FIFA World Cup 2026 matches.
“As Canada Super 60 returns for its second year, having fans across the country able to watch the matches on CBC and CBC Gem is a powerful sign of cricket’s growing momentum in our region. We are proud to be the host venue of this event and can’t wait to see how the tournament and the sport continue to grow from here.”
