#FALLforCBC: THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO CBC CANADA HOUSE, AN INTERACTIVE POP-UP EXPERIENCE AT THE CORNER OF KING STREET WEST AND BLUE JAYS WAY FROM SEPTEMBER 4-7

Meet-and-greets with CBC stars, panel discussions and Q&A’s, family-friendly activities and prize giveaways

The stars are out in Toronto and CBC Canada House is in the centre of it all. From September 4-7, fans can experience this pop-up activation through samples of CBC’s exciting fall line-up, ‘Meet & Tweets’ with CBC stars and a variety of other free, family-friendly activities. CBC Canada House will be located next to the red carpets, on the corner of King Street West and Blue Jays Way.

 

The public is invited to connect and engage with CBC by taking part in live interactive discussions with CBC personalities and other Canadian film and television industry heavyweights and snapping a photo at the ‘Step & ReTweet’ wall. Celebrities will be on site, talking to fans and answering their questions about the arts and media issues of the day. The CBC Canada House studio will host live audiences and act as a backdrop for live broadcasts throughout the weekend as CBC News Toronto, arts, radio and CBC’s digital platforms will be capturing the atmosphere.

 

CBC Canada House will also feature prizes and great giveaways available to anyone in attendance, including a stylish CBC tote bag. Fans spotted carrying their bag near CBC Canada House throughout the weekend will be eligible to win more fun CBC swag. While at CBC Canada House, visitors can enter a Facebook contest to win the grand prize of tickets to a special presentation of This Hour Has 22 Minutes.

Production Underway on Season 2 of Acclaimed Arctic Comedy North of North for APTN, CBC and Netflix
