This series will also be the featured Second Round match-up for CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada Punjabi presented by Chevrolet, available on select digital channels and online at CBCSports.ca/punjabi.

CBC’s other Second Round match-up features Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins taking on Henrik Lundqvist and the New York Rangers. Pittsburgh won a hard-fought First Round series against the surprising Columbus Blue Jackets while the Rangers battled back to defeat the Philadelphia Flyers in a thrilling seven-game series to reach the Second Round. CBC’s Bob Cole will handle play-by-play duties alongside analyst Garry Galley in the broadcast booth and Greg Millen (@GregMillen) at ice level. David Amber (@DavidAmber) will handle reporting duties for the first two games of the series while Cassie Campbell-Pascall (@CassieCampbell) will take over for the remaining games.

CBC’s Kelly Hrudey (@KellyHrudey) will join Ron MacLean, P.J. Stock (@PJStockHNIC), Elliotte Friedman (@FriedgeHNIC) and Andi Petrillo (@andipHNIC) as part of the Studio 42 Crew for the Second Round. Don Cherry (@CoachsCornerCBC) and Coach’s Corner brought to you by Budweiser will continue to make regular appearances throughout the Second Round, including each game of the Boston/Montreal series. In addition to Hrudey, CBC will welcome Hockey Hall of Fame member Adam Oates for select games during coverage of the Second Round. Known as one of hockey’s greatest playmakers, Oates ranks sixth all-time with 1,079 career regular-season assists and ranks 17th all-time with 1,420 career regular-season points. Following his playing career, Oates served as an assistant coach with the Tampa Bay Lightning and New Jersey Devils and was most recently the head coach of the Washington Capitals.
