CALLING ALL CANADIANS! CELEBRATE THE OFFICIAL 100 DAY COUNTDOWN TO SOCHI 2014 WITH CBC ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 30

Join the festivities at the Toronto Broadcast Centre or watch the live stream at cbc.ca/olympics 12 noon ET as the Sochi 2014 Olympic CBC broadcast team is revealed
 
 
Join CBC to celebrate the 100 day countdown to the Opening Ceremony of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, live at the Toronto Broadcast Centre on October 30 at 12 noon ET. Taking place on the brand new event stage, the CBC Sochi 2014 broadcast team will be unveiled and attendees will have the chance to enjoy interactive exhibits including photo opportunities with members of the Olympic broadcast team and receive the official CBC Sochi 2014 pin. The festivities will also be streamed live at cbc.ca/olympics, and shared via @CBCOlympics and #CBCOlympics.
 
About the Event
At the 100 Day Olympic Countdown, cbc.ca/olympics will be live streaming the event from 12pm to 1pm ET on October 30, 2013 in the Toronto Broadcast Centre’s new public event space in the Atrium.
CBC’s 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games’ broadcasting team will be announced and presented to the public for the first time.
At the event, guests will be able to hoist a Canadian flag in front of the Sochi 2014 backdrop, for a patriotic photo opportunity.
Guests will have the opportunity to navigate the cbc.ca/olympics website using a large, interactive digital station.
Attendees will receive commemorative Sochi 2014 Olympic giveaways
 
Canada is entering the Olympic Winter Games as the team to beat for the first time ever, and CBC/Radio-Canada will be there front and centre as Canada’s Official Olympic Network. Under pressure as the reigning gold medal nation, Canada is poised to make some noise in Sochi, Russia this winter. Starting October 30, tune in to CBC for coverage across all platforms of the lead up to Sochi 2014.
