CBC Books INTRODUCES Trivia Night IN TORONTO

Thursday,  March 29 at the Watermark Irish Pub


 

CBC Books is calling all book lovers to test their literary knowledge with its inaugural CBC Books Trivia Night on Thursday, March 29 at the Watermark Irish Pub in Toronto.
  Hosted by Garvia Bailey from CBC Radio One’s BIG CITY, SMALL WORLD, the event will feature a trivia competition (teams and individuals are welcome to sign up) with exciting prizes and participation by CBC personalities and notable authors. Admission is free - just bring a book to swap with your fellow bookworms. Unswapped books will be donated to a local charity.


 

To register a team of 4-6 people or as an individual (you will be assigned to a team) for CBC Books Trivia Night, please contact cbcbooks@cbc.ca by Monday, March 26, 2012.  (Best team names and best dressed teams will be among thoseawarded!)

  Can’t make it out? Participate online all day! Book lovers from across the country can test their knowledge online on Thursday, March 29 in the CBC Books National Trivia Game. Follow @CBCBooks on Twitter throughout the day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET, using hashtag #cbcbookstrivia. There will be questions posed every 30 minutes, with multiple prizes up for grabs.
