CBC’s successful, multi-generational family saga HEARTLAND marks a broadcasting milestone, celebrating its 100th episode on Sunday, March 3 at 7 p.m. (7:30 NT) on CBC-TV. Canada’s most popular family drama, HEARTLAND has remained a staple of CBC’s powerhouse Sunday night line-up for six seasons and boasts an actively engaged and ever-growing fan-base of viewers. Each week, audiences continue to tune in to follow their favourite characters, Amy (Amber Marshall), Ty (Graham Wardle), Jack (Shaun Johnston), Tim (Chris Potter), Lou (Michelle Morgan), Peter (Gabriel Hogan) and Georgie (Alisha Newton) as they band together to get through life in both happy and trying times.

Set against the glorious backdrop of the foothills of Alberta, HEARTLAND continues to tell stories about characters that Canadians from across the country have grown to love and welcome into their homes. In its exciting 100th episode, After All We’ve Been Through, Ty searches for damning evidence to prove Jeremy was behind Buckingham’s death, so that he can clear his own name. Meanwhile, Amy attempts to find a way to get Spartan to face his extreme fear of the jumping pen - his life depends on it. Lou and Peter’s romantic weekend at the Dude Ranch is interrupted by a surprise visitor… Peter’s ex-wife, Eden. Meanwhile, Mallory goes against Tim’s advice and turns to the internet to find romance for Jack.

In celebration of the 100th episode, CBC and Alberta Films are giving one lucky fan and their family a chance to meet the cast and crew of HEARTLAND in Calgary, AB. The winner and their family will be provided with airfare, hotel accommodations and a special itinerary including a visit with the HEARTLAND cast. Starting Monday, February 24 fans can visit cbc.ca/heartland to enter for a chance to win. Over the course of the contest, fans will have to find the answer to three questions and each correct answer allows for an additional chance to enter.
