Season 19 of Heartland is available Sundays on CBC Gem (7pm, 7:30 NT on CBC TV).

Set against the glorious backdrop of the foothills of Alberta, HEARTLAND is a CBC original series that continues to tell stories about characters that Canadians from across the country have grown to love and welcome into their homes since the series first made its debut on CBC in 2007. HEARTLAND follows life on the iconic Heartland ranch as Amy Fleming-Borden (Amber Marshall) and the family deal with the challenges of running a horse ranch, which has been in their family for six generations. HEARTLAND shares homegrown Canadian content portraying everyday family life on an Alberta ranch. It is a multi-generational series wherein audiences of all ages can relate firsthand to the Bartlett-Fleming family dynamics and evolving relationships. HEARTLAND is proudly filmed entirely in Alberta, mostly around Calgary, High River and Millarville.

Based on the bestselling series of books by Lauren Brooke, HEARTLAND holds the record as Canada’s longest-running one-hour scripted drama series. The series has achieved global streaming success. It is much loved by fans, not only in Canada but in more than 120 countries worldwide. HEARTLAND has become a worldwide phenomenon, especially popular in the United States, Australia, Brazil, UK and Southeast Asia.
