CBC-TV BROADCASTS EXCLUSIVE CONTENT FROM CBCMUSIC.CA BACK-TO-BACK ON SEPTEMBER 25

This week, exclusive content from CBCMusic.ca will broadcast back-to-back on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015. CBC-TV is set   to air the sophomore edition of the unique outdoor concert series         Quietest Concert Ever: On Fundy’s Ocean Floor     , featuring Serena Ryder at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT). Following that, viewers can watch some of their favourite YouTube sensations onCBC Music’s Songcamp at   9 p.m. (9:30 NT), as they spend a grueling 36 hours in a professional recording studio at CBC’s downtown Toronto location.

Hosted by Talia Schlanger (Radio 2 Morning), the   Quietest Concert Ever: On Fundy’s Ocean Floor with Serena Ryder showcases the beauty of the national park as Ryder debuts new   singles from her unreleased album. During the one-hour TV special, Ryder and her band are in a race against time as they perform on the floor of Herring   Cove, in the heart of Fundy National Park during low tide.

  CBC Music’s Songcamp, also hosted by Schlanger, follows seven of YouTube’s brightest stars on their mission to re-create a mix of old and new hits, including All of Me by John Legend, Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars, Counting Stars by One Republic, and   Cecilia by Simon and Garfunkel. Coached by JUNO Award-winning producer Gavin Brown (Metric, The Tragically Hip, Billy Talent and many more), the   special stars Bryarly Bishop, Corey Vidal, Daniel Kim, J-Reyez, Lisa Lavie, Maria Aragon and Meghan Tonjes.
