THE DRAGONS SURPRISE PAST PITCHERS IN THE SEASON FINALE OF CBC-TV's DRAGONS' DEN

Special Dragons on the Road update special airs Wednesday, April 2 at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT) on CBC-TV

In eight seasons, more than 1500 entrepreneurs have entered CBC’s DRAGONS’ DEN. In the season finale, the Dragons hit the road to surprise the show’s most memorable pitchers in an update special that is unlike anything viewers have seen before. Airing Wednesday, April 2 at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT), the Dragons travel from Halifax to Vancouver with many stops in between to check in on pitchers who landed deals, some who got burned and others who say the Dragons got it wrong.

From inking a deal—with a tattoo—to making a 30-year-dream come true, this special update episode of DRAGONS’ DEN will re-introduce audiences to some of their favourite past pitchers, helping to shed some light on the true nature of entrepreneurship and what these small business owners have accomplished, or failed to accomplish, since leaving the Den.

“This season I went on the road to surprise pitchers and had some of the most heart-warming and moving experiences I have ever had in the Den,” said marketing expert Arlene Dickinson. “Success is seeing Canadian business dreams come true and that’s what this special is all about.”

Publishing powerhouse David Chilton said, “I can honestly say this year’s Dragons Hit the Road update special is my all-time favourite DRAGONS’ DEN episode. It’s unlike anything our viewers have seen before. It was fun to be a part of and even more fun to watch!”
